Analyst, Procurement
This Role in Summary :
Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for an Analyst, Procurement opening to join our Global Strategic Sourcing organization. This function is responsible for identifying, developing, managing, and coordinating suppliers to meet the company's goals in regards to quality, delivery, and cost.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Develop and manage the business relationships between Whirlpool and assigned suppliers
Contract negotiations; Supplier issue resolution; cost reductions; Purchase Order creation and Management among other activities
Support the development of the North American region (NAR) purchasing strategy and operations for assigned service parts categories, Lead / Support Business Partner needs within assigned subcategories
Identify, develop and execute projects for your assigned subcategories, understanding the financial impact of the activity and the overall impact on Whirlpool financials
Develop and maintain systems related to supplier performance in addition to key relationships with internal customers
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery and analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine competitive prices and viable suppliers
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or a GED
2+ years of Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain experience
Preferred Skills and Experiences:
Manage and prioritize multiple key activities
Experience in service parts procurement
Practical use of supplier management and sourcing principles
Establish and build strong relationships with suppliers and process partners
Negotiation, conflict resolution, and management skills
Analytical and computer-related skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
