Job Description
Basic Function:
Correctly ship product to customer. Manage finished goods flow.
Scope/Supervision:
A positive working relationship with all team members in all departments and supervision.
Responsibilities:
Manage finished goods material flow between assembly and shipping, including stock transactions.
Pack product in both individual boxes, crates, and on skids for shipments to customers.
Process shipments through the computer using shipping system.
Communicate with customer service on order/shipment status.
Contact local freight companies (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.) for special pickup arrangements when needed.
Follow all OSHA compliance regulations.
Keep work area neat, clean and organized using the 5S+Safety approach.
Be engaged in initiating Lean processes.
Actively contribute to High Performance Team initiatives.
Perform other duties as responsibilities necessitate.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to changing roles and changing priorities.
