We encourage curiosity and critical thinking; we embrace wellbeing in its broadest sense, and we provide mentorship and inspiration at every step of your career journey.We're hiring a Supply Chain Analyst in Grand Rapids, MI.Position Description As a member of the Specials and Customs Procurement team, you will be accountable for facilitating the procurement of cost-effective materials for special or custom orders, while working closely with strategic supply partners and new suppliers. It will require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively communicate and have an understanding of supply chain management concepts. It will include extensive supplier interaction, as well as interaction with internal employees throughout the Specials and Studios order fulfillment value stream. Primary Responsibilities * Oversee and manage supply chain activities from the pre order quote phase and throughout order fulfill of specials or customs materials.Interfaces with suppliers, Studios teams and manufacturing facilities on a regular basis.Develop requests for quote, completing cost analyses, and subsequently working with Specials and Subscale teams to define the supply chain based on factors such as cost, quality, and lead time. Additionally, understanding material requirements and tooling lead times will be essential in order to ensure design intent and that project timelines are met. Provide strategic and analytical support for supply chain of specials and custom requests.and complete defined deliverables and tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner.Develop, negotiate and/or ensures compliance to legal contractual agreements by both business partners and internal functions.Requires the use of basic supply chain management tools, data and processes.Apply insight toward identifying lean opportunities and influence change and processes.Responsibility for supporting data and metrics.Skills and AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively with suppliers and different levels within the company.Ability to build a strong internal and external network in order to support responsibilities defined above.Strong critical thinking, continuous improvement, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of procurement, manufacturing, and materials management. Also helpful is an understanding of other business processes common to PD&L. Ability to manage numerous projects to achieve expected business results for the Studios. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and have a high attention to detail. Ability to successfully operate independently in a highly collaborative, cross-functional matrix-based organization Be a positive and an active teammate that can easily deal with ambiguity and navigate complexity.Education and ExperienceBachelors required, preferably in a technical field like Supply Chain, Business, Finance or Engineering.3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area Experienced user of MS Office, especially MS Excel. Other past experience showing strong technical aptitude and/or use of SAP.
