GDIT has an opportunity for a D365 Functional Analyst to support a full project lifecycle of solutions within the VA's premier CRM application suite based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 delivered via the Microsoft Government Community Cloud (GCC) Software as a Service (SaaS). In this capacity, you will coordinate with Information Technology staff and End Users on requested Microsoft Dynamics 365 customizations, and will review the functional and configuration requirements to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain a solution. You'll participate in sprint activities including business process analysis, functional configuration of Dynamics 365, disciplined testing (unit, functional, regression) and reviews as a continuous process, to avoid finding issues at the end of sprint development. Co-ordinate with the customer and elicit requirements, document them as business processes as required, transform these business processes into features and capabilities, map them to D365 features and configuration. Your contributions will be vital to providing a positive, high quality user experience to our nation's veterans.
The overall program supports the sustainment, operations, maintenance, and enhancement of the D365-based systems and their integrations with the VA's enterprise supporting Customer Relationship Management (CRM) suite utilized by 70,000 VA employees. Previous experience working with MS Dynamics 365 / Dynamics CRM /Dynamics Customer Experience (CE) applications) is required. Experience working in support of Federal, State, or Tribal Governments, or a health care client is highly desired. The candidate will regularly interact with VA business stakeholders, VA Line of Business leadership and VA central office client stakeholders, including the Veterans Experience Office (VEO) staff, VA OIT leadership, and COR, and is expected to document and report any issues that arise. This position will be remote with limited support required in vendor facilities and/or a government site.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the:
Learn and optimize customer-related business processes of the VA's MS Dynamics 365 CRM application suite.
Perform business requirements elicitation and development of full-lifecycle solution development efforts which are based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 / CRM, Canvas or Model Driven frameworks
Lead the development of user stories, use cases and design artifacts to effectively convey requirements to both client stakeholders and development teams
Customize and optimize CRM applications in support of business functions
Support internal users on the use of Dynamics CRM
Assist with unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing prior to production deployment
Support system interruptions and ticket resolutions in customer required timeframes
Support to DevOps development teams test planning and execution;
Support review and risk assessment of Change Requests;
Communication of any issues, problems, or risks to leadership with recommended solutions;
Meeting attendance with program personnel and VA stakeholders and support to reporting efforts;
Preparation of ad-hoc reports and presentations for PMO and VA personnel, and;
Utilization of professional judgement, critical thinking skills and research to resolve issues affecting system performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business related field, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline with at least 6 years of experience as a sr. business analyst, business process expert, or a business architect.
Must have around 3 years of hands-on experience performing configurations and customizations on Microsoft Dynamics CRM/ D365 platform;
In-depth hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, the entity model, security model, and Web services;
In-depth hands-on knowledge of Canvas and Model Driven applications and the Common Data Service (CDS);
Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills;
Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting, and;
US Citizenship or Green card holder
Desired Qualifications/skills:
D365 certifications, classes or exams;
Azure certifications, classes or exams;
ITSM experience;
Azure Dev Ops;
Previous Department of Veterans Affairs experience;
Previous experience supporting Contact Centers, and;
Active VA access including assigned CAG and PIV
