At GDIT, people are our differentiator. In this role, a typical day will include:
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource on user-end SharePoint functionality and applicability to support knowledge sharing, collaboration, and workflow for the USPS OIG intranet sites.
Assist with end-user training, to include building training documents, and interact with customers to provide guidance with SharePoint related tasks.
Set up content architecture in current and new site structures, with emphasis on end-users being able to maintain their content themselves.
Design and develop SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, views, and workflows.
Communicate with end-users, team leads, and team members on the details of the proposed design and progress on the work.
Provide support to end-users in maintaining content on their various web pages and assisting site owners with site development and maintenance.
Monitor and edit SharePoint content and permissions, as required, to ensure community activity follows guidelines and expectations.
Create SharePoint wireframes and design mockups to present to clients.
Plan, design and deploy Power Apps to include canvas, model-driven, and portal to meet the requirements.
Facilitate data integrity and setup role-based access during transfer of data from Shared Drive to SharePoint Online.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
4 years minimum experience with SharePoint Implementation and ongoing site maintenance and administration
Direct experience migrating from file shares and on-premise to O365 SharePoint online
Excellent interpersonal and customer focus skills.
Effective oral and written communicator.
Experience with working with end-users in developing, maintaining, and updating the content of SharePoint sites including migration of Classic to Modern pages.
Ability to promote best practices in terms of deliverables, processes, and knowledge sharing.
Ability to translate requirements into solutions and effectively work with internal colleagues on identifying solutions to meet the result desired.
Perform SharePoint environment analysis and implement upgrades and data migrations.
Demonstrated success implementing and customizing SharePoint Portals, content management sites and web-based collaborative workspaces
Ensure timely completion of tasks, maintain compliance, identify system performance shortfalls, drive for continuous improvement of processes.
