Position Summary
The FRIB/NSCL has an opening for a fixed-term Post-doctoral fellow position to join Prof. Yue Hao’s research group. The successful candidate is expected to be work in one or more of the following theoretical or numerical directions:
- Nonlinear dynamics and long-term beam stability
- Machine learning application in nonlinear dynamics problems
- Simulation algorithm of charge particle interactions for Exa-scale computing facility

Required Degree
Doctorate -Physics
Minimum Requirements
- Ph.D. in Physics
- Strong physics and mathematics background
- Strong communication skills with group members and collaborators
- Ability to work with export controlled technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C/C++ or Julia
- Experience with machine learning algorithms
- Experience in the analytical modeling
