Position Summary
This position supports both internal and external customers, provides clerical functions, customer service, and administrative functions serving as an assistant to IPF Auxiliary Services Manager. This position offers support to Custodial Services, Campus Events, Pest Control, Auxiliary services, KPIs/Metrics, Maintenance, Logistics, and Supplies. This position will work extensively with FAMIS; processing routine events, maintain and/or assist with maintaining multiple service request workbenches, scheduling work orders, setting up price certain event projects, and receiving inventory. This position will work in EBS/KFS; submitting purchase requisitions, submitting supply orders, preparing travel authorizations, submitting disbursement vouchers, completing I9 verifications. This position will also be responsible for entering accurate data, providing exceptional customer service, answering phones, dispatching responses, sorting/distributing mail, filing, making copies, and maintaining office supply inventory. This position will assist with identifying and maintaining KPI data, perform internal audits on team process’, review dashboards, and prepare summary of highlights from audits for manager.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
The job requires: knowledge normally acquired through a high school education; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or desktop publishing software; presentation and webpage software; typing and filing; maintaining accounting ledgers; may require knowledge of technical or medical terminology and/or technical knowledge or training related to the field of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
Two or more years working in an office type setting with customer service/receptionist duties. Expert knowledge of computer software programs and iPhone applications. Familiarity with MSU campus. A highly motivated/self-starter who demonstrates the ability to work well with a team in a fast paced/quick decision environment. Experience working in FAMIS or an equivalent asset management software program, EBS, data entry, travel authorizations, and reimbursements. The ability to multi-task with accuracy, follow directions, meet deadlines, and foresee the needs of department and business professionals.
