Robert Half Finance and Accounting are seeking a driven Director of Human Resources to join their company's team! The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for all areas of human resource management; including benefits administration, payroll processing, risk management, employee relations, recruitment, and selection, and HRIS management. Responsibilities Include:
-Serve as HR point of contact for all supervisors/managers on issues including hiring, performance management, disciplinary action, and terminations; provide counsel and guidance on sound employment practices.
Manage the annual open enrollment process; collaborates with insurance brokers, CEO and CFO on annual ratesto determine best benefit packages.
Provide support to HR Generalist in administering all company benefit plans including 401K, medical, dental, Life/STD/LTD, and flexible spending.
Manage the 401k plan to include processing changes to plan, approving loan requests and participating in the annual audits.
Review all FMLA requests, STD, and LTD leaves of absence for approval; Work with insurance broker to ensure all COBRA notices are sent out on time.
Collaborate with operations team to prepare the adjunct spreadsheet to ensure pay accuracy.
-Maintain PTO balances and tracking.
-Process annual audits for Workers Compensation, FSA Compliance, and process EEO reporting annually.
- Run bi-weekly payroll reports and monthly 401k reports for finance.
-Administer annual compliance trainings to include Diversity, Sexual Harassment and Cyber Security.
-Conduct internal investigations as necessary.
- File all workers' compensation, student injury, and EPLI claims; work with WC provider to reduce loss time.
-Collaborate with Management to create and update job descriptions as needed.
-Support HR Generalist in managing all recruitment including vendors and postings including both internal and external.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and lay off as necessary. •
-Update, revise, and distribute company policies as needed for complete compliance.
-Other tasks and projects as deemed necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations or similar degree required.
-PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
-Three to five years of experience in Human Resources or related field preferred, plus 2 years Management experience.
-Paylocity experience strongly preferred (HRIS, Payroll, Performance Management and Training)
