Our Commercial Lines Shared Services department is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
In depth
knowledge of technical methodology and best practices of Project Management,
Process Management & Process Improvement, Business Analytics, Metrics &
Measures to drive strategic business objectives. Partners with internal and/or
external teams and influences without authority.
This is a Full-time, Exempt
role.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the collection, development, analysis,
documentation, and communication of business needs and requirements.
- Facilitates integrations of new opportunities and changes
acrossdepartments.
- Act as a liaison while they interface and work collaboratively
with technology, vendor, and business organizations.
- Assess the needs of the assignment by directly interacting
with management, leadership, technology, the business, and the customer.
- Use working understanding of information systems, business
operations, and processes to analyze requirements, develop specifications,
storyboarding and prototyping to facilitate the design of integrated
solutions.
- Apply knowledge of business analysis, business processes
and project methodologies.
- Manage improvement obstacles and settle conflicts.
Provide recommendation and utilize manager if needed.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred and 2-4years of Analyst
experience, or equivalentexperience
- Possesses knowledge of commercial linesinsuranceand/or
of Hanover business systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to
multitasksuccessfully.
- Understands & demonstrates the importance of
developing and maintaining cooperative relationships at all levels of the
organization, despite differingperspectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the
ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to
utilize consultative and facilitative skills to address a businessproblem.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Apps (Excel; PowerPoint; OneNote;
Teams).
