Job Summary:
The role of Data Product Owners is to ensure value comes out of all the data projects of L2/L2+/L3 vehicles. Provide technical leadership of the project execution for a multidisciplinary team. Lead customer communications on technical aspects of project, with support from team. Lead preparation and presentation of Technical Design Reviews. Lead problem solving activities for the team to address vehicle data collection, data mining and breakdown of reported issues. Work closely with Project Manager and Engineer Team Manager for successful ADAS project execution.
Your Role:
Responsible for to develop a vision of what the data science team wants to achieve, together with a strategy to get there.
Responsible for managing a team of data analysis with event extraction for customer reported events.
Lead the team on vehicle testing and data collection to use the data for algorithm validation and triage.
Coordinator communication from customer to multiple competency (algorithm development teams, other departments, suppliers and/or customers).
Accountable for resource planning and team capability for data mining.
Streamlines algorithm analysis, validation and SIL processes across OEM projects
Responsible for product deliverables and customer satisfaction - Schedule, Risks, Quality and Customer commitments
Provides technical direction, resolve project issues and takes proactive actions to minimize risks for project deliverables
Your Background:
BS in relevant Engineering area
3+years of experience in Data Science, Systems and Vehicle Testing and ADAS or Autonomous Driving system development
Hands-on experience with vehicle instrumentation
2+ years in leading the team
Proficient in Python, Vehicle Communication protocol - CAN, Ethernet, Data Science Tools,
Familiar with Matlab
Proficient in structured problem solving
Additional Background Preferences:
MS in relevant Engineering area
Familiar with SIL and Data Validation testing
Experience with analysis tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe
Familiar with agile development process
