SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
JOB LOCATION (SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN - LEAR EAST CAMPUS)
As a member of the Trim team, the Account Manager will be responsible foroverall commercial ownership of new and awarded business for their assigned customer base. This position will also require leadership qualities to logically work through issues, understand the general market and trends and provide strategic feedback to assist in decision making for the sales organization
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Growing margin on awarded programs
- Seeking out new business opportunities
- Growing the top line revenue for assigned customers
- Processing and creating quotations to our customers
- Follow up on quality or material delivery concerns
- Identify key decision makers at potential customers and develop business relationships in order to secure new business
Your Qualifications:
- 5-10Years of sales or account management experience focused on direct OEM accounts
- Experience in negotiating premium cost claims with OEM customers
- Experience in tracking price changes, maintaining accurate records of changes including margin impacts
- Ability to understand drawing and technical information
- Experience with tracking margin improvement by capitalizing on EC's, CTO, and one-time commercial opportunities
