MRM is searching for a driven Business Analyst to be part of the technical team in Birmingham, MI. This role is critical as a driving force in building best-in-class cohesive experiences and solutions for a digital transformation – focused on defining and managing an interconnected and growing set of digital tools and experiences.
The right candidate has demonstrated experience in B2B and/or complex ecosystems, is comfortable balancing solution design and business requirements, and is excited to be directly engaged with clients on a daily basis to build trusted relationships with technical and non-technical team members alike. Responsibilities include leading requirements gathering, partnering on solution design, architectural integrity, and translation of requirements to enable best-in-class cohesive outcomes.
Top candidate will be a self-starter with sharp eye for details and ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment and serve as a subject matter expert to ensure the final product/deliverable aligns with the requirements and overall goals.
Assignment:
- Partners with clients to drive the portfolio and overall solution design for program
- Serves as liaison between different business unit stakeholders, UX architect and technical teams to identify, analyze, and provide support for business requirements gathering
- Translates outputs into actionable documentation – into specific systems (such as Jira) where appropriate
- Support the identification and assessing new capabilities, use cases and outcomes critical to the overall architecture and goals
- Collaborates with UX architect and solution owner to assist in defining the best in class user-experience Will serve as key integration point for incident management, and technology issue resolution
Responsibilities
- Conducting interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, job shadowing, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
- Translating conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
- Creating process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team in Jira / Confluence
- Assisting with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options, and communicating these back to the stakeholders
- Leads meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings, delivering requirements analysis.
- Conducts functional testing and prepares mandatory test cases for UAT in projects or Business Releases
- Collaborates with project managers and solution owner to refine project scope, timeline and vision
Education and Experience:
SKILLS & LEADERSHIP:
- Must have 6-8 years of experience in product management, consulting, design and/or digital ecosystems
- Experienced in Agile development methodology (Scrum)
- Be a critical thinker but also execute on the details; outstanding analytical, research and presentation skills

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:
- Proficient with Jira, Confluence, or similar programs
- Understanding of marketing technology and integration
- A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
