Description:
Position Title: Clinical Pharmacy Manager
Position Summary:
Plans, directs, and implements all clinical pharmacist services across Mercy Health Muskegon (MHM) hospitals in accordance with professional standards, regulatory and licensing agency policies, and federal and state laws related to the practice of pharmacy. This includes managing and leading clinical pharmacists, supporting pharmacy residents and pharmacy students. Collaborates with MHM partners to coordinate and integrate the delivery of pharmacy services across the full continuum of patient care.
What the Clinical Pharmacy Manager will need:
Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution
Preferred: Pharm D degree from an accredited institution; Master's degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area
Current State of Michigan Pharmacy license, or eligible for licensure within 90 days of hire
Three years of health-system pharmacy leadership and management experience
Has held administrative positions in a complex health system for at least five years;
Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent work experience.
