McLaren Health Care is looking for a Patient Accounting Representative to join the Corporate Revenue Cycle Team. We have several opportunities available in billing, billing follow-up, cash posting, and customer service.

The Patient Accounting Representative – Representatives will support the McLaren Health Care System subsidiaries and external customers and vendors as part of the Revenue Cycle Central Business Office.
Cash Poster will be responsible for posting payments to patient and general ledger accounts, and reconciles automated postings.
Associate Degree in Health Care, Finance or related area. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted.
Proven skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, Window based applications; and 10 key calculator.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Working knowledge of 835 Electronic Payment Files.
One year experience in hospital financial or patient service.
Must be able to understand, explain, calculate, analyze and interpret the information reviewed daily.
Work Location: McLaren Revenue Cycle Centralized Business Office located in Shelby Township.
