JobDescription
Obtains materials and supplies from local distributors, warehouses, or merchants.
Cleans equipment, machinery, and building.
Keep records of work performed and related maintenance records.
Performs janitorial functions in the absence of janitor.
Performs preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment and building and grounds per pre-established schedules.
Miscellaneous repair tasks to include painting walls and equipment.
Performs a variety of building and grounds, machinery and equipment repairs, installation, or modification.
Perform other miscellaneous utility jobs as assigned by the supervisor.
May be required to reorder routine maintenance supplies.
Education Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required:
Speak clearly and distinctly with appropriate pauses and emphasis, correct pronunciation, variations in word order, using past, present, and future tenses.
Write compound and complex sentences, using cursive style, proper end punctuation, and employing adjectives and adverbs.
Must read at a level to comprehend instructions and labels and complete requisitions.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrammatic form.
Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure.
Perform the four operations with the common and decimal fractions.
