Description
Robert Half contract team is partnering with a non-profit organization to fill a Benefits Coordinator position.
Benefits Coordinator will assist organization's employees with:
Overall benefits administration including; . group medical, dental, vision, disability, life, flexible spending accounts, retirement and 403(b).
Serve as primary point of contact for active and retired plan participant inquiries via phone and/or email and responding in timely manner.
Provides an overview of any benefit program to eligible employees and assist with plan enrollment.
Verifying supporting enrollment documents as needed.
Partners with internal IT and benefit vendors to enroll, resolve and assist participants and employers.
Manually update and/or correct participant's benefit data into benefit administration system as needed.
Verifies the calculation of the monthly premium statements for client invoices as requested.
Assists in the planning and implementation of annual open enrollment.
Provide written correspondence to participants on a variety of benefit matters.
Oversees and identifies claim issues/trends by working with employee(s) and benefit vendors to resolve applicable issues and reports issues/trends to the Assistant Manager of Employee Benefits.
Adjudicate and process payment of self-administered short-term disability claims.
Research and respond to Unemployment Claims inquiries to the State Unemployment Insurance Agency
Requirements
Basic understanding of employee benefit plan administration.
Strong customer service experience in employee benefits/HR environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with HRIS or benefit administration systems.
Proficient in verbal and written communications.
Additionally candidates for this role should have strong interpersonal,customer service and organizational skills.
