Who You Are
We are seeking an energetic, innovative Account Manager responsible for customer acquisition, retention and growth. Mentored by our top Sales Executive/President, you'll join our relationship-driven team and take charge of developing detailed sales/marketing plans and maximizing sales opportunities to drive results and inspire productivity and teamwork.
The role requires a strong focus on new business development, up-selling and cross-selling to existing clients and securing contract renewals. This will be achieved through sound account planning, prospecting to identify high quality clients, developing assigned accounts, understanding the client business and technical environment, educating clients on PITSS’ solution offerings, and identifying ways the company can assist clients in solving its application modernization challenges.
- Promote and sell cutting edge technology solutions (software and professional services) to prospective and existing clients.
- Provide value by demonstrating how our product & services can improve their business’ efficiency and bottom line.
- Identify customer pain points using effective questioning techniques leading to a valued solution.
- Drive revenue by meeting and/or exceeding sales quota on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Responsible for the promotion, prospect development and customer satisfaction in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with PITSS Marketing in creating prospect and current client engagement campaigns that generate leads and deepen current relationships
- Effectively utilize provided technology to prospect (DiscoverOrg) and manage accounts (Zoho CRM).
- BA/BS or equivalent educational background
- 2-3 years B2B Sales experience, preferably in technology
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to tactical execution and follow-through
- Self-motivated with high degree of initiative and drive
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical-thinking abilities
- Clear understanding of pipeline development and management
- Passion for technology and innovative solutions
Base Salary Range:
$50,000 - $60,000
with the potential of adding a variable component.
