Description
In conjunction with the hospital management team, Human
Resources, and Infection Control Committee, this individual develops and
coordinates the Colleague Health Program. This individual works with the
infection prevention practitioner on policy and procedure development and
revision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs pre-employment screenings
and ensures all OSHA/MIOSHA required lab tests, immunizations, and TB
precautions are complete on new hires.
- Provides evaluation, coordination, and
follow-up for all work related illnesses and injuries.

- Provides health and safety
education and training in both formal and informal settings. Teaches, councils,
and refers employees to promote wellness.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONSREQUIRED
of an accredited school of Nursing.
as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
of experience as a RN.
QUALIFICATIONSPREFERRED
Degree in Nursing.
