Outside Parts and Service Sales Representatives - Interstate Power Systems Sales Representatives fulfill a critical role in our operations. They are responsible for increasing Parts and Service Sales with existing accounts and prospecting for new accounts in their assigned territory. They solicit new business and maintain accounts through face-to-face and phone contacts, developing networks and industry contacts, promoting our value-added products and services and keeping customer satisfaction a priority.
The primary duties of this position will be to actively promote service and parts sales in the assigned territory
Communicates parts orders and delivery instructions to counter people, while also coordinating with Service Advisors on service work
Keeps abreast of new products, competition and pricing trends.
Coordinates relationships with New and Used Equipment prospects.
Promotes the sales of parts and accessories and is an advisor to wholesale or retail customers.
In conjunction with Credit Manager, establishes a method of payment on service and wholesale parts.
Follows up on and confirms customer requirements and orders to ensure satisfaction.
Completes necessary paperwork for processing warranty claims, as required.
Review special orders and pricing with the manager for approvals.
Deliver orders and pick-up returns from customers, as needed.
Effectively and efficiently manages required reports and paperwork (budgets, travel, CRM, call reports, expense reports, timesheets, etc.).
Other duties to meet business needs.
Actively identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share
Assist customers in solving problems and provide technical support
Act as a liaison between the customer and company as needed to ensure that the customer needs are adequately met

Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
Proven background in sales
Clear driving record
High school degree or equivalent required
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to waist high
3+ years recent/relevant experience with outside sales
