LOCATION: Ida, MI
At the Ida Farmers Co-Operative we provide customized chemical applications, custom fertilizer applications for our customers, and continually haul grain to various facilities. Seasonal drivers are responsible for delivering chemicals and/or fertilizers to our applicators, hauling various commodities to other facilities, maintenance of machines, and general housekeeping of equipment. May be required to work in the yard (i.e fill nurse tanks and load tender trucks).
The person selected for this position must:
* Be able to work in a team environment
* Be able to work at least Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
* Ample opportunity for overtime
* Communicate effectively
* Possess strong customer service skills when communicating with clients
* Keep track of inventory and communicate with the office when inventory is low
* Ability to lift a minimum of 50-pound bags and occasionally 100-pound bags
* Coordinate with drivers and office staff to complete tasks efficiently
* Understanding of basic math calculations
* Be able to work a forklift/ front end loader
* Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
* Must possess a CDL
* Complete necessary safety training to maintain a safe work environment
* Must have high school diploma or GED
* Perform additional duties as assigned
