E-Commerce is one of the fastest growing areas of within the grocery/consumer products industry and represents an opportunity for continued growth for SpartanNash. We are enhancing our e-commerce strategy and exploring new ways to fulfill customer demand. This position will be responsible for the operations of our new Micro-Fulfillment Center located in Caledonia, MI.
Directs and coordinates activities of Micro-Fulfillment Center in absence of Manager, Supervisor, or other management to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations to ensure that the work shifts of all associates contribute to the financial best interest of the Micro-Fulfillment Center. Assist with maintaining facility functions in partnership with supervisors and managers. Responsible for assisting the Micro-Fulfillment manager and supervisor(s) in leading, training, and working alongside a team to pick online grocery orders. Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
- Ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of Micro-Fulfillment center orders
- Knowledgeable in all work areas of the fulfillment center: shipping, receiving, staging, replenishment, and order exceptions for timely delivery to stores
- Provide effective customer service to review order substitutions, comments, and special requests. Implement the Company service program(s) and model high standards of service to achieve positive customer satisfaction
- Monitor associate's adherence to company policies
- Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment, which includes, but is not limited to, compliance with company procedures and governmental regulations (i.e., safety, sanitation, etc.), cleanliness of the work environment, proper maintenance and report any issues related to equipment, and proper training to operate and maintain mechanical equipment.

Here's what you'll need:
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- One year - retail, warehouse or other related experience preferred:
- Prior warehouse, distribution or retail experience preferred. Prior experience operating power industrial equipment, such as an electric pallet jack and high extender lift preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation in the conditions specified for 8-10-hour shifts. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, day, and evening hours, and overtime as assigned.
- Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively to conduct the job requirements.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.
