As Pediatric Oncology Nurse: Assessment Triage for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, you'll be joining a collaborative team of RNs and LPNs who work on the frontlines of patient care. Since our ACU serves patients from acrossall ofour units, you'll have the opportunity to touch the lives of hundreds of patients a week, serving as the first set of medical eyes towelcome,assess and prepare patients for the care they'll receive.Your role here will be multi-dimensional; you'll serve as the vascular access specialist within Assessment Triage as well as the educator and resource to staff, patients, and their families, ensuring that they're equipped with the proficiency and confidence needed to be effective partners in patient safety.

Primarily day shift, some evenings as needed
Weekdays, five days per week, some weekend requirement
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN required. BSN preferred
- Two (2) years of internal St. Jude experience at a Pediatric Oncology Nurse (PON) II level and documented core competencies and skill sets with CAP peer review required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.15
- (CL: RN-TN) Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure non-Compact state
- (LC: RN-ARK or RN-MISS) Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse (CPHON), Certified Oncology Nurse (OCN) preferred
