The Administrative Assistant provides general office and project related support including assisting visitors, volunteers and staff, answering telephones, and general administration duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely communication, feedback and follow-up to staff, leadership, clients, visitors and volunteers

• Manages and distributes incoming calls, mail, email, and faxes

• Prepares documents and letters to copy, distribute and file

• Maintains inventory of supplies, furnishings, equipment; ordering supplies as requested

• Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

• Maintain employment files

• Manage and communicate new employee onboarding process

• Completes all Verifications of Employment (VOE) in a timely fashion

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required

• Two years of office or administrative experience (preferred)

• Maintain strict confidentiality

• Excellent typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to communicate effectively and accurately
