Full-time Contract

PLC Programmer
Programming, start-up, and debug of automation equipment at company and on customer sites. Requires in depth knowledge of ladder logic, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuitry, and solid understanding of mechanical sequencing of machinery. GM body shop experience and certification (GCCH, GCCS) required. Works with electricians, pipe fitters and builders to check hardware for correct build, piping wiring and operation. Works with robot programmers to establish correct PLC-Robot interface. Works with project management, controls, and customer to make sure machine operation meets the customer's requirements.

Location:

Various company facilities in Metro Detroit. Also supporting GM plants in US, Canada, and Mexico.

Requirements

GM body shop experience and certifications (GCCH & GCCS).
Non-degreed candidates should have at least 2 years on-the-job PLC experience.
Ability to work 50+ hours/week (overtime and weekends).
