Job Description
Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs engineering design evaluations. May develop a range of products. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. May require a bachelor's degree in engineering and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a the field of Engineering. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Preferred Skills, Education, Experience:
Required Education
Minimum required education: Engineering certification, associate’s degree, or comparable.
Required Years of Experience
3 -5 years of experience working as a design & release engineer.
Desired Skills
In addition to the required skills, key skills would include a practical knowledge and use of: GD&T, drafting experience, NX CAD, tactical planning, problem solving (8D, Kepner Tregoe, other), PDfSS,
Desired Education
Bachelors of Engineering degree preferred.
Desired Years of Experience
Preferred experience working within automotive seat engineering.
