What does a great Business Analyst do?
The Business Analyst (BA) has responsibility for ensuring quality design and delivery of product enhancement projects focused in the treasury management area. He/she is responsible for developing product and technical requirements for enhancements to the treasury management system. The BA needs to understand the business need of the enhancement and its applicability to the treasury management market that we serve. He/she will also work alongside the development teams to provide iterative analysis of the detailed specifications and to provide a link between the product and business and the development teams. The BA will need to be comfortable
managing multiple projects at once
maintaining awareness of delivery target dates and manage change requests accordingly
interacting with internal and external clients regarding the assigned projects, identifying opportunities and points for consideration in the projects
designing and executing test scenarios and test scripts
developing and providing training for system users, as well as assistance to users, on the enhancements, as needed
This is a fast-moving position, requiring the Business Analyst to search for new ways to accomplish traditional tasks, to understand the market, and to challenge the status quo. You can look forward to interaction with many different areas of the Fiserv business and being part of a Fortune 500 organization. The Product Manager reports to the Director of Product Management, has no direct reports, and works under general supervision, providing significant input regarding his / her products and their management and direction. This position includes significant internal and external client and market interaction, and as such requires strong professional presence, communication and decision- making skills.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
Min of 5 years' experience in commercial banking, commercial treasury management, or financial software
Knowledge of commonly used business analyst concepts, practices and procedures within software and web-based applications, including agile methodology
Have sound knowledge of integrating two or more systems. Be able to map fields, messages etc. for integrations
Ability to make decisions based on precedent and solve problems using sound judgment and experience
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with good follow-up skills and attention to detail
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
Ability to multi-task and adjust schedules to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Weekend and off-hours work and availability is required from time to time
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
Familiarity with Project Management tools
Experience leading and mentoring small teams within an overall project structure
Familiarity scrum development methodologies and the associated role of Product Owner
Good presentation skills
Attention to detail
CTP, AAP certifications will be a major plus
Travel required : 10% Percentage
