Responsible for providing support for the stabilizing,
standardizing, simplifying and sustaining of Process Excellence within the operations
of McLaren Medical Group (MMG). Actively leads and mentors all levels within MMG
in developing problem solvers to improve the patient care experience,
regulatory goals and all operational metrics such as: core measures, patient
safety, quality, cycle time, rework, patient and employee experience. Works as
a direct extension to the Regional Director of Operations around systematic
development and rapid implementation of lean practice and clinic optimization.
Provides support for the analysis, coordination and integration of clinical processes, particularly those pertinent to strategic objectives.
Provides direction in performance improvement approaches to creating performance improvement plans, defining appropriate aims and measures in collaboration with service line leadership
Leverages clinical information technology, process design, change management and evidence to facilitate improvements in the patient care experience, quality and financial and regulatory goals with emphasis on core metrics. Utilizes lean sigma methodologies to facilitate improvement initiatives.
Leads and facilitates teams utilizing project management skills through the development and refinement of clinical designs, including process flows, order sets, decision support, analytic reporting, documentation templates and online forms. Acts as an ambassador and change agent to build a culture of continuous improvement.
Analyzes and interprets data, operational and procedural problems related to assigned service line projects.
Develops metrics that provide data for process improvement measurement, identifying indicators for future opportunities.
Mentors project team members in improvement methods, project management, change management, group dynamics.
Implements solutions and develops appropriate monitor and control plans to ensure implementation and hardwiring change.
Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external peers and partners.
Develop, trains and mentors on process improvement methodologies with a heavy focus on Lean, Change Acceleration, Rapid Process Improvement and Six Sigma.
Maintains effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members.
Maintains detailed records of project meetings, status and outcomes.
Communicates and reports project status to all stakeholders from staff to senior leadership.
Performs other related job duties as requested.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree with amajor in Business Administration, Healthcare, Planning, clinical orclosely related field
Five (5) years offull-time experience in a similar role or direct clinical managementexperience
Two (2) years ofleadership experience
