The team is responsible for documenting high level business requirements and translating them into detailed functional and non-functional specifications. The IT TEOS team assists the business organization in determining which requirements can be automated and how they are integrated with other business and technical processes. The IT TEOS team specifies and documents requirements, ensuring testability and traceability back to source while partnering with quality assurance in defining acceptance tests. The team is responsible for the detailed design and implementation of the IT solutions to meet the business requirements. The CE business partners that this IT team serves, and supports are Supply Chain, Safety, Business Services, Real Estate, Fleet, and Facilities.Job Description/Responsibilities:This is an entry-level role that will work with business partners and IT staff to identify business opportunities for application development solutions and new applications. The IT Technical Analyst may work on resolutions to problems reported on current technology and applications. The IT Technical Analyst may participate in specification reviews for system enhancements delivered by suppliers or during the idea and project inception phase. The IT Technical Analyst is responsible for developing detailed design documents, collecting and prioritizing business requirements, leading process identification, creating test cases, and confirming deliverables. This role may also provide input and support planning and prioritization for business and/or IT process related activities. The role additionally may identify processes for improvement, document existing processes, identify and analyze gaps between current processes and the desired state, design new processes, and develop process performance measures. The role teams with the business partners, Business Technology Partners, and Solution Architects to document proposals and create RFx documents. include:•Ability to effectively communicate with business partners, project team, technology partner, and vendors as necessary throughout the delivery lifecycle•Work with business technology partners, business partners, and vendors to define business requirements for business case development, process improvement, solution development and defect resolution•Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the TEOS portfolio's systems, organization, and business processes, specifically business functions•Provide Break/Fix Support, which requires analysis, configuration, developing test scenario scripts, performing testexecution and production implementation for all business functions•Create and maintain thorough and easy to follow job aids, business process procedures and configuration documentation•Facilitate process design sessions, document session outcomes, model solution processes based on findings through user stories, workflow diagrams, and data models (as needed)•Perform design, documentation, and implementation of complex, cost effective solutions; provide input to alternative solutions•Identify technical options and define detailed specifications of technology solutions•Support the Testing Center of Excellence in requirement interpretation, test case development, data mining, specification interpretation and test case definition, ensuring test cases align to approved requirements•Ensure that information security policies, principles, and practices are an integral element of the system design•Enlist appropriate experts to ensure solutions are fully compliant with architecture process and standards•Provide systems expertise to system users, business partners, and other internal/external customers including trouble shooting issues, as well as, identifying and correcting inefficiencies•Build relationships with IT strategic suppliers to gain an understanding of cross-functional processes and required interactions between the suppliers and IT•Strengthen technical knowledge in new and existing technologies•Proactively identify and mitigate risks and delays to the project•Work with the Project Manager, project team, and the business partner to ensure effective communication for solutions development, project requirements, project status, and provide timely escalation of issues to ensure project objectives are met•Anticipate obstacles and develop plans to resolveRequired Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Management of Information System or similar is preferred, but equivalent experience will not be overlookedPreferred Qualifications:•Knowledge of IT principles, methods, and practice; experienced in IT systems development process and procedures•Deep experience as an analyst exhibiting strong problem-solving skills, communicating in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluating information/data to make decisions•Hands-on experience with business...
