Process files through the federal verification steps; revise financial aid offers based on other outside resources, professional judgement, and enrollment changes according to federal, state and institutional awarding guidelines utilizing tools such as Banner and ImageNow. Additionally, will analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities.
Electronically track forms in Banner software, scan and link documents into the Imaging software, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Responsible for running multiple queries that ensure student aid offers fall within federal/state/institutional awarding limits, rules, etc.
Submit and analyze transfer monitoring reports and ascertain how financial aid may need to be revised.
Work on Unusual Enrollment Pattern reports and resolve any issues.
Assist with mailings, ISIR record keeping, emails and calls to students needing to submit additional information. Assist the Senior Aid Officers with other tasks as assigned/needed.
Act as a representative of the Office of Financial Aid to students, parents, outside agencies, faculty and staff either through direct contact, emails, phone calls, text messaging, and at presentations regarding financial aid in general and the application process.

Bachelor’s Degree Required
1-2 years of financial aid experience working with regulations, policies & procedures at the federal, state and institutional levels.
Must be able to demonstrate there are no restrictions that would prevent the candidate from obtaining authorization to NSLDS, COD and other federal financial aid processing sites.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products such as but not limited to Word, Excel, etc.
Banner experience or like higher ed administrative software tool.
