| Accounts Payable The Kendall Group is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual for an Accounts Payable position in the Portage, Michigan area. Position Description: The Accounts Payable position is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. The Accounts Payable position will be responsible for a variety of vendor accounts and will be part of a team which values cooperation, integrity and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Handling and maintaining vendor accounts
- Review invoices and purchase orders for payment approval
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic accounting knowledge
- General administrative duties, as needed
- Some travel required (less than 5%)
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage relationships both externally and internally
- Strong phone presence and listening skills
- Good judgment and problem solving skills
- Highly motivated and self-starter
- Strong computer and typing skills - Word and Excel
Required Education: - High school diploma or equivalent
