RLE International has an opening for an ADAS/DAT system engineer in Dearborn, MI.
Position Description:
You will be assisting the customer's team in implementing DAT (Driver's Assist Technology).Create and maintain test documentation including test requirements, procedures, plans and reports. Analyze and review test data to ensure proper system operation by utilizing real-time and post-processing data analysis tools. Conduct research to validate vehicle system and subsystem performances, as well as develop engineering risk assessments. Support the development of key tool sets for performing metric evaluations of system modules and engineering processes. Establish guidelines to promote effective vehicle testing, monitor design and release processes.
Requirements:
- Must have a bachelors degree in engineering (preferably in electrical engineering)
- Experience with Ford's systems.
- Experience with DAT signals and functions or ADAS.
- Capable of providing recommendation / direction on which signals can provide the information needed to deliver specific AR function and to define strategy for Time Sync between AR vs ADAS camera.
- Ability to guide the team on the changes required to the signals to support AR feature without impact ADAS features.
- Ability to provide help to the team to understand the MobilEye REM RoadBook technology (a crowdsourced vision-based map), and if this technology can be used to support AR feature development for GE2 timing.
- Ability to make any modifications needed for DAT signals and Specs.
- Implement validation and verification for the impacted DAT signals and functions.
