Position: Behavioral Health Services Therapist
Reports To: Behavioral Health Services Supervisor
Beginning Pay Range: $40,560.00 - $44,616.00
About this Opportunity:
We are seeking a full-time 40 hours / week (flexible scheduled) therapist to provide mental health and/or substance abuse services to children under the age of 18 in collaboration with their families. Therapist will carry a blended caseload which will include home-based services, case management service, and outpatient services in an office setting. The home-based level of care will focus on crisis stabilization in order to help the client maintain stability in the family home. Case-management services will focus on linking, advocating, and coordinating services. Participation in an on-call rotation to help manage crises are required. A knowledge base of child development and evidenced based therapeutic treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing would be desired. The Behavioral Health Therapist will report to the Behavioral Health Supervisor.
You will know you’re successful in this role when:
- Manages a mixed caseload of Outpatient, Case Management (CM), and Home Based (HB) services and maintain monthly unit and contract expectations for each level of service.
- You complete required intake forms, assessment, treatment plans (interim, individual plans of service and addendums), service plan reviews, and discharges by their due dates as stated in contract expectations and program procedures
- You participate in required case-related activities such as school conferences and court hearings for case coordination and advocacy purposes.

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family is required along with a full or limited mental health license in the state of Michigan (LLMSW, LLPC, LLP, LLMFT).
