UWM puts a tremendous emphasis on equipping team members and their leaders to succeed; a crucial component of this is training. Training allows trainers to work closely with team members and leaders to encourage the sharing of best practices and materials while keeping all of our teams on the cutting edge so we stay ahead of our competition. We need a Training Coordinator who is passionate about what makes the culture and people of UWM unique in the mortgage industry. This Coordinator would help support any and all needs of the New Hire Experience (NHE), Mortgage Knowledge, and other Training Support stand-alone courses and curriculums. The Coordinator will assist in welcoming our team members to our great culture in NHE and Mortgage Knowledge. They will also help in their understanding of the Wholesale lending process and essential skills of a UWM team member. The Coordinator will also assist in the development of new and seasoned team members, facilitate escape rooms, co-facilitate classes, and support training team in other projects as needed.
Scheduling and coordinating NHE & Training Support events each week such as:
Continuous Improvement (Our 5th Pillar) guest presenters, stand-alone courses, escape rooms, compliance training, and other events outside the scope of production based training teams
Co-facilitating classes as needed; facilitating escape rooms and team building events as needed.
Assisting the NHE Trainer with welcoming and navigating new team members around the building for badge photos, building tours, team member's first 3 o'clock dance party each Thursday, finding our very own Ucafe, etc. during their first week at UWM
Coordinating with leaders and team members in Talent, Team Relations (HR Generalists), Engagement, Benefits, Data/Payroll, Client Service, Security, Marketing, IT and other teams to prepare new hire welcome swag, license plate name tags for each team member's new desk, password and network access information, and leader information lists prior to each week of class
Preparing the NHE training room
Assisting with the creation of PowerPoint presentations and materials as needed.
Delivering training materials to leaders across the company
Partnering with the Ucafe to submit catering requests for NHE lunch events with leaders and teams
Confirming and following up with business leaders to ensure leader's are available for leader lunches for their new team members
Enrolling NHE students in Academy (Our testing platform for Compliance). Also following up on company surveys to gain feedback on how to improve the course
Scheduling and booking training rooms
Being an ambassador for our company culture, pillars, and dedication to training for all new team members
Previous coordination experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Passionate, enthusiastic and motivational attitude.
A desire to engage with new team members every week and be an advocate for the culture and beliefs of UWM
Exceptional communication skills
Strong time management ability
Flawless organizational skills including multi-tasking
The desire to be curious, creative, and resourcefulness.
Self-Starter
High School Diploma
Onsite attendance is requried
Preferred Skills:
Experience with creating Academy content and enrolling team members in various Academy trainings
Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
Experience with education and/or adult learning theory
