Job Description
SummaryApplies scientific knowledge / therapy to practical clinical problems of respiratory care. As a team member in delivery of respiratory services, and under medical direction, performs a wide range of procedures related to the care of patients with general and specialized respiratory-related needs of various age groups.
This position will be part of resource pool 2. It will be full time hours, every other weekend rotation. The RTs in Resource Pool 2 will float to various floors, including ICUs, at Blodgett Hospital, Butterworth Hospital and HDVCH. Ask about the hourly stipend for float pool.
Qualifications
Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
Preferred Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Therapy
2 years of relevant experience pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep medicine or equivalent clinical educationRequired
RESPIRATORY\Respiratory Therapist, Registered (RRT) SHWM Within 6 months of hire
LIFE SUPPORT\Basic Life Support (BLS) SHWM 90 Days Required
RESPIRATORY\Respiratory Therapist, Licensed (RESP THER) SHWM Upon Hire Required
