GENERAL SUMMARY
Reports to Health & Fitness Center Manager and is responsible for oversight of fitness services, according to established policies and procedures. Works independently in overseeing Manistee Health and Fitness operations and providing support to members and referred patients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily required through completion of a High School diploma. Some health and fitness related preferred but not mandatory.
Current BLS certified (American Heart Association).
Lifestyle consistent with a health promotion philosophy.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs front desk duties (clerical, reception, and data entry).
Proactively communicates and responds to a broad range of members including diverse age groups and mentally or physically disabled members.
Orients new members to facility operations and equipment and provides facility oversight.
Participates, as appropriate, in quality process improvement of the Hospital.
Performs job responsibilities in an ethical, compliant manner consistent with the organization's values and the hospital's Corporate Compliance Program, policies, procedures and protocols.
Encourages others and works in a safe and healthy manner to prevent injury or illness.
Performs other related duties as directed.
