The Nursing Recruiter is responsible for full lifecycle talent acquisition and plays a critical role in hiring top talent. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and effective time management to fill open positions. The Nursing Recruiter is responsible for ensuring a superior candidate experience and serves as an advisor to hiring managers. This role is highly visible to internal and external stakeholders and is key to developing talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs in assigned functional areas.

ORGANIZATION Reports to System Director of Talent Acquisition.

Promotes personal and patient safety.
Provides a high level of customer service and effectively guides leaders and candidates through the hiring process; ensures that timely follow up is maintained.
Manages incoming requisitions through ATS, ensures approvals are obtained, posts positions, and closes out filled positions.
Reviews new applications in accordance with screening criteria and sends top candidates forward for hiring manager review.
Responsible for attracting, screening, interviewing, and evaluation the best candidate for employment in assigned job families.
Responsible for interview scheduling, meeting and greeting candidates for onsite interviews, and arranging complex interview itineraries.
Supports the selection of final candidates, including responsibility for: reference checks, compensation, and generation of offer letter. Provides guidance to hiring manager on the job offer process.
Upon acceptance of offer, ensures all information in the ATS is accurate and provides a handoff to the onboarding team.
Works collaboratively with other recruiters and team members on best practices for all recruitment efforts.
Serves as an advisor to leaders - conducts regular check-in's, provides education, offers recommendations on recruitment strategies, assists in increasing applicant volume, and selection of the best candidate.
Conducts recruitment strategy meeting with hiring managers as needed to ensure an understanding of recruitment needs and make recommendations for next steps.
Proactively monitors vacancies and partners with Corporate Communications to create and execute marketing and advertising strategies for assigned jobs or job families as needed.
Responsible for ensuring appropriate ads are placed and that web-based technologies are leveraged (e.g. Professional association websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, ZipRecruiter). Engages in appropriate sourcing efforts as needed.
Independently coordinates and attends local and state events in promotion of career opportunities. Represents the company at professional conferences, community networking events, and at colleges/universities.
Assists in ongoing strategic recruitment efforts, studies competitive landscape to identify best practices, and stays abreast of recruitment trends, technologies, and changes in applicable legislation.
Has an advanced understanding of trends and metrics and is responsible for initiating countermeasures and workforce plans.
Responsible for nurturing existing relationships with colleges, universities and other key stakeholders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
