Position Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Business Analytics leader who is passionate about solving business problems through data-driven decision making. In this position you will lead a team that owns data analytics projects from beginning to end and drive the process of turning business questions, risks and issues into verifiable hypotheses, thorough analysis and actionable recommendations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide creative yet logical approaches to solving data and business and process problems
- Ensure and enhance data quality by performing various levels of data validation and updating policies and procedures as needed to ensure uniform, accurate and consistent data are present
- Work cross functionally to support reporting requirements and drive alignment
- Support in preparing review packages, analytics, and ad-hoc modeling and analysis
Key Requirements:- Sales Ops or Finance Background
- 5+ years of progressive experience building business analytics and a data driven culture
- 3+ years of managing high-performing analytical teams
- Proven ability to tell a story through data and communicate effectively with senior leadership; mastery of advanced visualization techniques with an ability to translate findings for a general business audience
- Extensive experience using analytics tools for any one of the following: Tableau, Microsoft BI, Qlik, and Domo.
- Detailed understanding of how to extract data from Salesforce and SAP (Anaplan and other Business Tools, and how the tools work in order to communicate with IT on any changes we may need to extract the data is preferred)
- Data Science background a Plus
- Has built KPI's around Renewal and Retention analysis, as well as reporting on Product Orders and Revenue, ARR analysis
- Experience in working with a set of complex data coming from multiple data sources
- MBA a Plus
- Experience in Enterprise Software companies
