Job Description
General Motors is looking for talented software engineers to help us build state-of-the-art infotainment systems. We are seeking people who can help us push the limits of vehicle technology.
As part of our team, you will develop and integrate software for GM's advanced line of vehicle technology. Our group delivers software for GM's next generation infotainment and connectivity platforms. We are looking for energetic individuals who are passionate about software and thrive on software/hardware integration with the latest vehicle technology.
Your role:
* Develop, integrate and test software on infotainment and connectivity systems
* Work with a team in an Agile development environment
* Diagnose, debug and solve issues related to vehicle hardware and software
* Hands on troubleshooting of vehicle bench configurations
* Interact with internal, corporate and global teams
Additional Job Description
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other related software field
* 2 years of software development experience
* Android or Java software development experience
* Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design
* Good verbal, written and communication skills
* Passion to learn new technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
* C++, C# and/or Python development
* Hands on Linux development
* Embedded systems
* Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic and test equipment
* Background in networking and/or wireless systems
* GPA of 3.0 or higher
