We're hiring Nurse Interns at Ascension Genesys, please apply no later than Thursday, March 25, 2021.
PRN - Days
Minimally will work 2-8 hour shifts every two weeks.
What You Will Do
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Complete assigned nursing orders as directed by the preceptor, including assisting patients with activities of daily living and taking vital signs.
Observe patient status and responses.
Document and report observations to the preceptor or other appropriate staff.
Assist preceptor with development of care plan by reporting test results and patient observations.
Perform other tasks as assigned, including environmental services and preparing/transporting patients for diagnostic services.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
High school diploma/GED required.
Enrolled in a nursing program.
Graduation within 6-8 months from start date preferred.
Work Experience:
- Completed clinical rotations at Ascension Genesys preferred.
