Makela, Toutant, Hill, Nardi & Katona, P.C. (MTHNK), is a full-service public accounting firm in Marquette, Michigan. We provide a full range of accounting, auditing, tax, consulting, and payroll services to clients in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and beyond.
MTHNK is seeking a senior audit manager or audit manager to join our audit department.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED WITH MTHNK IN THIS POSITION:
- Licensed CPA
- 6+ years of financial statement audit experience within a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Ability to manage and supervise audit and attestation engagements of clients in various industries, in accordance with relevant professional standards
- Working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Experience with Thomson Reuters PPC Guides and AdvanceFlow audit engagement software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to stay current on developing audit and accounting standards.
- Effective time management skills with an ability to organize and prioritize projects.
- Ability to maintain and promote a positive attitude and work environment.
- Strive for continued personal and professional growth.
- Desire to work and live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
