- Be on-call to respond to emergencies and breakdowns at the waste treatment facility
- Maintain chemical levels and adjustments
- Read gauges and meters and accurately record findings
- Prepare and maintain accurate paperwork such as records, logs, orders, surveys, and routine reports as directed
- Perform standardized water process control, monitoring, and compliance sampling and testing including Ammonia, COD, BOD, Total Suspended Solids, Total Phosphorus, Total Residual Chlorine, Temperature, and Total Dissolved Solids
- Collect wastewater samples for analysis by state lab
- Maintain daily narrative logs and record plant operating data as required in logs and operations software
- Provide effective, timely, and respectful communication and interactions with other employees, supervisors, and suppliers
- Follow all DFA GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
- Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrived
- Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgement
- Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity
- Perform other related functions assigned by management or as they become apparent
