The District Manager initially is a part-time position (20 hours per week). The Manager is required to attend evening/weekend events when scheduled.
The District Manager reports directly to the Osceola Lake Conservation District Board of Directors. The Manager represents the Board in the day-to-day operations of the District. As the Board’s representative the Manager must maintain communications with the Board.
The District Manager shall be the business manager for the District. As such, the Manager shall be familiar with the District’s accounting and budgeting systems. See that monthly financial statements are provided to the Board of Directors and recommend changes as needed.
The District Manager shall be familiar with the work agreements with several natural resource conservation partners. The Manager shall coordinate with our partners and supervise District employees.
