POSITION TITLE: Dir, Sys & Analytics Rev Integ
GENERAL SUMMARY: Directs and leads a team of Analysts and Developers responsible for development of analytical insights/methodologies for Revenue Cycle and Revenue Integrity. Oversees the proper use of enterprise systems and data. Leverages data analytics to systematically influence change for operational excellence, and ensures appropriate standards, controls, and measures are in place. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders through providing regular interaction/collaboration around current and future analytical tools and data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Serves as system-wide Leader of data, analytics, and reporting for all non-clinical functions (Revenue Integrity, Patient Financial Services, Health Information Management, Reimbursement, Finance, Contracting, Patient Access, etc.) Including but not limited to:
- On-demand strategic analysis and/or custom reports
- Predictive analytical models to proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Compelling visualizations (e.g., dashboards, presentations, charts) to illustrate trends and performance
- On-going creation, monitoring, and trending of key operational and financial metrics
- Implementation and execution of robotic process technology to automate business functions
- Lead the reporting team to establish the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis
- Define, Create, and communicate a clear and compelling vision and strategy for Business Intelligence and communicate vision to staff and business stakeholders
- Expand the organization's research and analytics offerings, especially in emerging analytical approaches, skills and technologies, focusing them on digital business innovation.
- Foster the creation of a data-driven culture, related competencies and data literacy across the enterprise
- Oversees data review, analysis, and audits, and collaborates with RC leadership to present findings, identify opportunities for improvements and/or cost savings, and pursue such improvements
- Manages technology advancement initiatives, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Has the capacity to bring together cross-functional groups to address issues and opportunities.
- Support month-end close process and assist with financial audits
- This is a working Director position that will be required to develop in SQL, Crystal, and Qlik.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, data science, or a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related field.
- Epic Business Intelligence Developer
- 5+ years of hands-on programming
- 5+ years of process modeling using a visualization tool (ex. MS Visio)
- 5+ years performing requirement analysis by gathering both functional and non-functional requirements based on interactions with process owners, stake holders, and designing, Coding, Testing, Debugging, Documentation and Implementation of Business Process Solutions
- 2+ years of Management/Leadership on a team of analysis or data scientists
- 5+ years of experience in Finance, Revenue Cycle, Reimbursement, or Revenue Integrity
- 5+ years SQL, Oracle, MySQL, Tableau or Qlik
- Exposure to Reimbursement and contract modeling
- Epic Clarity Data Model Business Intelligence Developer
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)
Other Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of business process practices/requirements and Continuous Improvement Process mindset
- Mastery of data management systems, proficiency in predictive analytics, and knowledge of coding languages (ex. SQL, Python)
- Exhibits superior management skills that emphasize teambuilding and strong leadership with the ability to provide clear direction to the department(s)
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast past ever changing scope of work
- Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle functions and systems, with extensive and broad experience within Revenue Cycle/ Revenue Integrity / Reimbursement / Finance, specifically with experience managing data analytics and with direct oversight of robust data analytics at a multi-entity healthcare organization or large complex revenue cycle services or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Expert level skills with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Structural Query Language and/or relational databases.
