Conversion Rate Optimization Director/Manager-Remote for specific locations listed below
Job Role
Pearson Pathways is a new personalized online search engine and marketplace to assist students to compare degree programs, ultimately enroll and succeed in their learning. The Conversion Rate Optimization Director/Manager (CRO) for Pathways is responsible for improving and optimizing the conversion rate throughout an acquisition funnel; along with enhancing the online experience of our customers. In this position, the CRO will develop a comprehensive, experiment-led, conversion optimization strategy; while collaborating closely with a cross-functional team including product manager, marketing, UX/UI designers and developers to execute a plan to meet, and ideally exceed, conversion rate goals for both Pathways web and mobile platform.
Responsibilities
Manage key conversion points in the marketing funnel with lead-to-customer conversion growth as the main goal
Manage and optimize key landing pages and website's calls-to-action (CTAs)
Oversee A/B test and continually measure test and channel performance
Oversee optimization projects and ensure implementation with cross functional teams
Partner with Product Manager, UX/UI Designers, developers, recruitment team to gather customer feedback and create hypotheses for testing
Collaborate with cross functional teams to lead creative brainstorm sessions and develop roadmaps for on-going A/B testing across the site
Work closely with web page designers, developers, and Product Manager to implement and execute these tests
Analyze key metrics, identify trends and make recommendations to improve overall conversion rates and customer experience
Collaborate with marketing, UX/UI designers, and marketing analytics as well as outside agencies and consultants required to execute against your optimization plan
Organize testing results and communication of results to stakeholders across the business

Qualifications
Qualifications
5 years' experience with website/web conversion optimization
Proven track record of improving lead to customer conversion rate through multivariate A/B testing
Must have a strong customer-centric focus
Proficient in web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
Strong knowledge of one or more testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Adobe Target, etc.)
Strong creative problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
Strong conceptual, creative and strategic thinking
Highly motivated, well organized, capable of leading test implementation from concept through execution and able to communicate status and results effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to achieve results through influencing others. Proven success in a matrixed management environment.
Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.
Well-developed commercial and business acumen
Strong analytical skills, with a track record of developing actionable recommendations from quantitative data
Bachelor's degree required
