Job Description
The Role
Coordinate Production Readiness and Change Management from a Vehicle Controls System (GECSE) perspective
Proactively plan, track, analyze, and prompt risk management plans for cross functional part level issues that could impact product launch, interim or post-SORP changes
Facilitate Production Readiness Team (PRT) activities to support right parts at right PPAP and/or functional safety level for the right APPV, PPV, MVB-ns, and MVB-s, SORP and post-SORP builds
Responsibilities
* Lead Production Readiness Team (PRT) to meet program timing objectives
* Complete pre-work, analysis and appropriate plan agenda to maintain meeting efficiency
* Gather and follow through on action items to closure
* Collaborate with Component Timing Planners (CTPs) on plan creation per GVDP timing
* Maintain Controller timing plans
* Analyze readiness data, part level timing, and impact to downstream customers, (focused on Manufacturing Sites) and identify critical issues
* Manage late or running changes to align with planned build implementation timing/VeSCoM, considering impact to downtime and/or obsolescence
* Communicate Production Readiness information
* Ensure countermeasures are defined and agreed to by all parties
* Collaborate with Change Management Leader for EC change requests
* Assist Change Management Leader with pre-work to ensure sufficiency
* Support Change Management Leader in signoff & notes in ECM
* Ensure all ECRs are progressing in a timely manner to closure/conclusion
* Actively promote lessons learned and process improvement recommendations through leadership and peer collaboration

Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree
* Minimum 3 years of project management experience
* Working level knowledge of the following systems / processes:
* GVDP / GPDP (product development plans)
* Experience with Product Launches
* Change Management
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills leading cross functional teams
* Effective at dealing with change and ambiguity
* Tenacity to thrive in a challenging environment
Desired Skills
* Ability to easily identify how issues are connected and affect outcomes
* 3 years of Automotive experience
* Experience in one or more functional areas: Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Product Engineering, GSC
* Working level knowledge of the following / systems / processes
* Engineering Design / Release
* Statement of Requirements (SOR)/Sourcing
* Engineering Change Management (ECM)
* PPAP
* GEPICS
* SPR (part release system)
* MGO (material ordering system)
