Job Description
A fully-qualified individual contributor who has thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the function. Subsystem Validation Engineer

About the Subsystem Validation Engineer Role:
The primary role of the Subsystem Validation Engineer is to ensure all areas of validation, requirements and integration have been completed for the assigned programs. The content responsible includes, but is not limited to, side closure door systems, lock sets, mirrors, wiper and washer systems, air inlet panels, and fixed windows.
* Provide status at vehicle validation readiness reviews for critical milestones.
* Attend vehicle program development / validation meetings.
* Provide regular status reports and represent validation at program leadership review meetings, as required.
* Responsible to work with and coordinate validation activities across multiple validation and development System Management Team (SMT) areas as required by system.
* Provides validation systems expertise to successfully meet program deliverables.
* Monitor / track revision level changes (hardware / software) that could impact validation activities.
* Ensure execution of robust propulsion Learning Analysis / Development / Validation (LADV) plans for all applicable vehicle programs.
* Support hardware build requests accurately on all programs for relevant system testing at the applicable milestones.
* Review Change Requests / Decision Notices for validation impact.
* Maintain validation status in Performance Quality Management System tool
* Provide full traceability of requirements.
* Ensure optimized hardware plans in support of program-level LADV plans for system-level validation.
* Perform read across for validation testing.
* Participate in system technical reviews, as appropriate.
* Participate in resolution of issues involving interface SMT's and other subsystems.
* Ensure all Certification/Regulation Compliance testing is completed.
* Ensure proper project reporting, review, closure, documentation and archival.
