Position Summary
Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Performs basic skills per hospital/unit guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team.
This position will start with required Nurse Tech training classes that are preset, and not flexible. These take place 8 am to 4:30 pm on Wednesday, Thursday the week you start and Monday and Tuesday the 2nd week of employment. We will not be able to consider you at this time if you cannot meet these training requirements.
Days of required work for this role will be as follows:
Week 1: Fri, Sat
Week 2: Mon, Tues
Week 3: Fri, Sat
Week 4: Sun, Mon
Week 5: Fri, Sat
Week 6: Sun, Thurs

- Population (types of patients/what they can expect):
Medical overflow unit.
Medical: GI bleed, pneumonia, kidney disease, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - High School Degree equivalent
Licenses - Basic Life Support
