Position Purpose:
Manage Claims Front End department operations to ensure production and quality standards are met
Plan and establish work schedules, staffing requirements, and production systems to maximize productivity
Provide production and quality analysis and make recommendations on process improvements
Drive change initiatives to address future-oriented business needs
Collaborate with internal IT partners related to front end system designs and production malfunctions within the claims verification and scanning process; identify system problems and test to ensure appropriate deployment to production
Conduct quarterly user access reviews to ensure appropriate user access
Oversee internal training processes and functions
Collaborate with external vendors, including return mail processing; paper claim storage, retrieval and destruction; and equipment maintenanceManage the day-to-day operations of the Claims Front End Operations department for ingesting provider and member submitted paper documents.
Education/Experience:
