Summary
The Production Clerk position performs a combination of production tasks which may include, but not limited to, loading machinery, positioning work, setting up jobs, removing parts and waste, adjusting and operating machinery. This role also assists the Operator with job duties. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, problem solver who has a strong work ethic to improve quality and production levels of systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
Observes machine processing for proper functioning and production of parts.
Loads and unloads their assigned machine and packs product for the forklift.
Performs visual and/or manual inspection to determine if part is meeting quality standards using measuring tools or fixtures as needed.
Completes required paperwork.
Assists operator in operations.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience
Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Basic math skills
Able to communicate effectively
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must be willing to travel as needed via most efficient means
Must be physically able to access all areas of the plant and grounds
Must be available for work on any shift or shift rotation or work schedule as needed by the company
Hilo and manufacturing experience
Required OSHA safety training
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
