General Summary:
Under general supervision inventories/restocks supplies/maintains work area. Verifies/signs for incoming supplies. Prepare shipments for hospital delivery.
Essential Duties:
Completes pick lists and notifies supervisor or manager of discrepancies. Fills requests for supplies and inputs receivers/issues into computer. Keeps supply areas clean, organized and updated. Delivers/Documents direct orders to departments. Initiates/receives/relays calls/messages. Verifies expiration dates on products; assembles and packages products; assists with employee orientation; adheres to safety guidelines; communicates/interfaces with hospital personnel and others, performs other related duties as assigned.
Standard Qualifications:
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent

- Licensure: None
- Skills & Abilities: A basic knowledge of reading, writing, and math, is required in order to give and follow written and oral instructions and perform job duties. Approximately three to six months of experience is necessary for an individual to perform duties. Ability to organize/prioritize own work to insure daily workload is completed; ability to react and perform under stress and emergency situations; ability to exercise some judgment in work environment. Data entry experience preferred. Must be able to lift between 50-80lbs.
*Wage rates for this Storeroom Clerk position are governed by a collective bargaining agreement. Wage rates are available in the collective bargaining agreement and in the Human Resources Department.
